Q1 is over and you are already well into Q2.
Now let me ask you, have you taken a look at your Q1 results yet? If not you should be.
Q1 is one of my favourite business quarters because it's early enough to gain insights that inform your original plan, and start to make pivots to keep you on track.
If you haven’t already, here is what you should be asking and doing:
Deep dive into your analytics. Is your web traffic on track? How are your leads and conversions looking?
Review your financials. If you trend consistency will you still be on track for your revenue goals 2026 or do you need to make some shifts?
How does your budget look? Are you still on track to spend your projected budget? Will you need to ask for incremental $$? Will you have more than expected you can reallocate to other initiatives?
Is the workload consistent or will you need more hands on deck to take on what you expected this year?
Are the business goals still the same? Has anything changed since your leadership originally aligned?
This is the time when the seniors leaders in your organization should be getting together to have these conversions, together, so you can be aligned for a strong remainder of the year. As a senior marketing professional, be prepared and ready to initiate these conversions in the best interest of the business and your marketing team.
